A Walk to Remember

Today we went to a special event to remember the girls. We wrote messages to them on balloons and at the end of the walk, we let them go. We also tied little teddy bears to the end of the balloons for the girls. It was a nice day and it was nice to take some time to devote to my babies.
There was a cute poem someone read that I really liked. Here it is:
Ask my Mom how she is...
My Mom, she tells a lot of lies she never did before
From now until she dies, she'll tell a whole lot more.
Ask my Mom how she is and because she can't explain,
she will tell a little lie because she can't describe the pain.
Ask my Mom how she is; she'll say "I'm alright."
If that's the truth, then tell me, why does she cry each night?
Ask my Mom how she is; she seems to cope so well.
She didn't have a choice you see, or the strength to yell.
Ask my Mom how she is, "I'm fine, I'm well, I'm coping."
For Heaven's sake Mom, tell the truth; just say your heart is broken.
She will love me all her life, I loved her all of mine.
But if you ask her how she is she'll lie and say she's fine.
I am here in Heaven, I cannot hug from here.
If she lies to you don't listen, hug and hold her near.
On the day we meet again, we'll smile and I'll be bold.
I'll say "You're lucky to get in here, Mom, with all the lies you've told!"

Sue, it looks like you all had a good time. We wish we could have been there for the walk. We love you and miss you, and can't wait for Christmas time when we get to go home. We love seeing pictures of your family, so keep the camera rolling! We love you all,
T. J. & Family

Hey Sue,
I just read an article for my Bioethics class about a non-profit organiztion. They're called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, and they do infant bereavment photography. They had a quote on their website that made me think of you and your girls. It says:
"
There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world."

I just thought I'd share that with you.

Thank you for the comment you left on my blog. I also thought that the poem on your post is very fitting and true. My heart is broken! And sometimes I don't understand why it has to be so hard for me and lose so many babies, but I know that I have to hold on to that peaceful feeling that I have at the moment that I we are losing them. Otherwise I think I would go crazy. It would be nice to email you here is my email. darcie.callie@gmail.com
Thanks again
