Before I tell you the "I am a nerd" story, let me preface it with this story:
PART I:
At Thanksgiving I had made some sugar cookies for the kids to put frosting on while we were preparing dinner. I was running short on time so I just threw the frosting in an old butter tub and away we went. Later in the evening, my father in law just kept going on and on about how wonderful the rolls were. He just wouldn't quit. Finally he asked his daughter how she got them so sweet. She just kind of looked at him and said, "I just made them the same way I always do." At that point, his girlfriend caught on and asked him, "Which butter did you use?" We all had a good laugh as we figured out that he'd actually been putting frosting on the rolls. I couldn't let him live it down, and kept giving him a hard time.
PART II:
Tonight I had one of those late night pregnancy cravings where I REALLY wanted Macaroni and Cheese and Hot Dogs. I made Daddy go to the store and buy all the stuff. I even made him go back to the store when I'd forgotten to have him get ketchup the first time. Well, he finally gets home with all the stuff, I get it all cooked, and we sit down to eat it. I took one bite of the Mac and Cheese and thought, "Wow, this is really sweet." Yep, I'd used the frosting instead of the butter. But just for the record, it's the first time my kids have actually finished a plate of Mac and Cheese!!! So, yes, I am a nerd!!!

New Memorial Blog
Hi All, I just wanted to let you know of a new blog I started called Idaho Angel Babies. I'm not going to be posting much on there, other than comments, but if you'd like to take a look at it, go ahead. I have posted the ENTIRE story of my girls and hope that other angels' mommies will post their babies' stories as well. Check it out: www.idahoangelbabies.blogspot.com
Merry Christmas Girls!!
We went and finished decorating the girls' grave today. We had gone a few days ago and set up the tree and the stockings, but I didn't feel like it was enough. It's a hard thing to do. I miss them so much. Last week as we were putting up the tree we were talking about how, if Chelsie and Charlie had lived, they would probably be pulling all the ornaments off the tree as we were putting them on. I would so love to be picking up ornaments, only decorating from three feet and up on the tree, etc. I hope there is a big celebration with lots of treats in heaven at Christmas. And I hope the girls get matching new Christmas dresses.

We decided to drive to Jackson yesterday out of sheer boredom. The kids were getting restless, and I didn't want to clean my house, so we went for a drive. It was fun. We stopped for pizza and looked around at all of the shops. The kids liked the store with all of the animals in it. They loved the lions the most.
Twilight Party
The other day I went to a book club meeting where we had a "Twilight" party. I LOVED the books!! I read all 4 of them in less than 2 weeks. I'm not that excited for the movie to come out though. There is not a human being alive as beautiful as I picture Edward. My imagination is VERY good. Besides, I'm a little bummed that Belle didn't end up with Jacob. I would have chosen him. In fact, I married my Jacob!! I couldn't be happier.

Halloween
We had a great time at our Trunk or Treat at the church. Daddy and I were in charge of it, so we had to get the kids ready quite a while in advance. Wee One's fake eyelashes looked adorable, but she only left them on for about 20 seconds after we left the house. And the black hair spray was cute too, but she considered it a rare form of child abuse. She screamed and cried and screamed some more. I kept telling her that it was supposed to be fun and she was going to enjoy it whether she wanted to or not, but that didn't seem to help. Bo was a "Motorcycle Dude" and was more than happy to be all bundled up in a nice warm coat. Next year's plan: buy costumes that can be zipped up as we are leaving the house.

New Baby in June
We had our first doctor appointment today for Baby #5!! Everything looks really great so far. We are due on June 7th--what a great time of year!! My doctor is going to be keeping a really close eye on me for the first little while to make sure all is good, but I think we'll be just fine. We've got two little angels on our side. We ask you all to keep us in your prayers, though. And we are open to name suggestions--especially for boys. Wee One and Bo want to name it "Butterfly" if it's a girl (which they think it is). I have better luck with boys, though, so I'm hoping for a boy. Girls are just too naughty at birth. I'll keep you updated on everything, though. I'm so excited--and baby hungry. I probably shouldn't have gotten rid of every single baby item in my house after the twins died, but I think it was all part of grieving. It was good for me. So it's back to square one for the baby items. Yeah, shopping!!!!!!!!!!!

Ridin' High
Wee One's preschool had a field trip today and Bo was more than happy to tag along. The kids got to go ride miniature horses at a local arena. Luckily Daddy was off of work and able to take them. I wasn't sure how smart it was for me to be in a barn full of hay and horses when I couldn't take any allergy medicine. The kids had a great time!! Bo even got a little rodeo action. One of the horses' saddles was rubbing, and when Bo jumped on, it started bucking around. Bo held on for dear life until Daddy grabbed him and yanked him off of the horse. Luckily, Bo didn't realize he was supposed to be afraid of things like that, and climbed right back on. Wee One said her favorite part was "going around the loop twice and then coming back". They both took great naps when they got home.

First Snow Fall
Well, it snowed for the first time today. Wee One and Bo were ecstatic!! They sat and the window and yelled, "It's snowing!! It's already winter, I can't believe it. It's almost Christmas". Sadly, they were right. They had a great time helping me get out the box of winter clothes to see what still fit and what needed to be replaced. I let them go out and run in the snow for a few minutes, and they were in heaven.

Family of Seven
Well, I guess I won't be able to keep this a secret for long, because I've already gained five pounds and who knows how many inches, but Daddy and I are expecting Baby #5!!! We are due the end of May. I would really appreciate it if you would all keep us in your prayers for the next few months. We are so excited about this new baby and we are praying that all goes well. I'm shooting for 42 weeks!!!!!!!!!!

Salsa
I just got finished canning "House Fire Salsa". I'll admit the name is a little misleading as far as salsa goes. I don't like anything hot (or "saucy" as my children would say), so my salsa is less than firey. I call it House Fire Salsa for a reason though. My aunt literally burned her house down while making it one time. It was the best salsa I'd ever had!!! A little expensive when you add in the cost of the house, but well worth it. Luckily, I didn't burn my house down making it and we have 17 pints to add to our food storage. On to the next project: Grapes!!

A Walk to Remember
Today we went to a special event to remember the girls. We wrote messages to them on balloons and at the end of the walk, we let them go. We also tied little teddy bears to the end of the balloons for the girls. It was a nice day and it was nice to take some time to devote to my babies.
There was a cute poem someone read that I really liked. Here it is:
Ask my Mom how she is...
My Mom, she tells a lot of lies she never did before
From now until she dies, she'll tell a whole lot more.
Ask my Mom how she is and because she can't explain,
she will tell a little lie because she can't describe the pain.
Ask my Mom how she is; she'll say "I'm alright."
If that's the truth, then tell me, why does she cry each night?
Ask my Mom how she is; she seems to cope so well.
She didn't have a choice you see, or the strength to yell.
Ask my Mom how she is, "I'm fine, I'm well, I'm coping."
For Heaven's sake Mom, tell the truth; just say your heart is broken.
She will love me all her life, I loved her all of mine.
But if you ask her how she is she'll lie and say she's fine.
I am here in Heaven, I cannot hug from here.
If she lies to you don't listen, hug and hold her near.
On the day we meet again, we'll smile and I'll be bold.
I'll say "You're lucky to get in here, Mom, with all the lies you've told!"

Happy Birthday Cobie
Yesterday was Bo's 3rd birthday. He is just getting too big. It's not fair. He was such a cutie though and was so sweet all day. He had fun going out to lunch with Grandpa and having a party last night. I'll try to get some pictures up, but my camera was having emotional issues yesterday--we'll see.
